I needed four new tires for my crossover SUV. I called a few places but still wasn't sure what to do. So I called Malugani, and spoke to John. I let him know of my driving habits, and some prices I was quoted around town. He gave me his recommendation (based on my needs), and a competitive price to boot. Suddenly my choice was easy so I went with Malugani.

The early bird drop off service was also super convenient for me. What can I say, the entire transaction was painless, and I got four great tires that I feel safe driving my family in.
I'll be back again to have Malugani help me with my future service needs as well.
My family originally opened the first Big O Tire stores in the Bay Area, so I come from a long line of knowing the tire biz, and no shop had ever been able to compare to the level of service that my family provided. Well, I got a flat and had to find a shop locally, and found Malugani's. This small family-run shop made me feel like I was at my Dad's store again, by the warm friendly greeting, to the quick, super-efficient turnaround time, to the no stress, no heavy sales attitude. I felt like I was being treated like family, with absolutely no pressure from the staff to do more services. Great store!
Good old fashioned service. 5 stars for me..
I've been going here for my tires for many, many years. They always do a great job, and at reasonable prices. well-located, too, if you want to go off to a coffee shop, or just walk around checking out the neighborhood. Recommended!
Extremely satisfied with their service. My car had a low tire pressure warning light on due to a screw piercing. They fixed via an inside patch for only $15.
Okay so buying a new set of tires is really a pain in the ass. Now with the Tire Rack online options there is a way to check the bottom pricing but the coordination of the install and free rotations being included etc... can get a bit screwey. Called this place up as it is down the street and told them what I needed quote etc. They were $50 higher all in install, valves free rotations etc and decided to support a local business rather than one in the middle of a field in NV. car was done in a day and they are right on Miller so taking the bus to and from the city - Nice people give em a shot next time you need tires.
I hate tire centers. I have been lied to, taken advantage of and deceived by tire centers such as Toscalito Tire on Lombard Street in San Francisco that should be closed by the BBB due to their deceitful practices. I took my car into Malugani to have a nail removed from the tire and the puncture fixed and to have a nail removed from my spare and the hole patched as a preventative measure. They did a great job. The service was excellent, honest and reasonably priced ($25/tire). I have had nothing but BAD experiences at tire centers in San Francisco. Of all the tire places I have visited over the past 10 years, Malugani is the best. If you are in need of tire service, I would highly recommend Malugani.
My sister's brakes went out on her older Subaru in Mill Valley, and the guys at Malugani went out of their way to help her. She had her dog and my 2-year-old nephew with her and it was extremely hot that day-they were all having a bad day. The staff at Malugani let her use their phone to call me, gave them free drinks, and let them watch TV in the lobby while they waited for me to come pick them up. They even offered to let her leave the car overnight at no charge if she didn't want it fixed. She did elect to have the car repaired, and it was reasonably priced, and they didn't try to do anything unecessary, or without prior approval. Thank you guys for being so nice to my sister and doing a great job repairing her car!!!
My wife was just in today in a rush and pre-payed to have a nasty looking screw removed from a tire on her suv. She came back an hour later and was told the screw didn't puncture the tire so no repair was needed. No charge. We'll be back for our annual nail in the tire. Thank you Malugani Tire!
This place is a family affair! The business has been in Mill Valley for decades & most if not all of the family has worked there. I find it the perfect comfy place to park my stroller (& kid) & wait for my car to be serviced. On especially long days, they've been so nice to give me a coupon for Grilly's next door (that famous chicken taco salad is famous for a reason!). They've always got magazines & toys for the kid(s) & that new flat screen tv is pretty awesome in their waiting area. Drinks are on tap (I'm talking water, coffee or tea). Malugani's location on Miller Ave is perfect on nice days to take a stroll (with or without the stroller) to the nearby Ace Hardware Store or Whole Foods or even to the old downtown if you're feeling ambitious. Great car care can make me feel ambitious, so I walk frequently to the downtown & leave knowing that my car is in great hands. If you prefer not to walk, they'll ask you if you need a ride some place. Prices are average, but they let you know exactly what they're doing & won't do anything over & beyond your budget (or to compromise your safety) unless you approve it. From brake replacements, oil changes, tire rotations & bigger repairs, Malugani is my place & if you're in Marin, it should be your place, too!
